Wedding Invitations and Stationery

Extra invitations can be ordered after your initial purchase however we strongly recommend ordering at least 10% more than your final numbers. There is a minimum order for some of our wedding invitations and it will mean purchasing the minimum order, or ordering them as individual 'samples' at a higher rate. Take into consideration last minute guests and perhaps a keepsake for you and family.

Final wording is to be provided and approved by brides & grooms, however I am happy to help and recommend wording if you are unsure. Most of our designs provide a great example for wording which can be used as a guide, but we welcome any weird and wonderful wording that you'd like!

We can also create a completely new and unique invitation to reflect your personalities and wedding vision.

It is best to have a good idea of the number of invitations you require to be able to place your order via our website.

Yes, we offer this service at no extra charge. We just require the names you would like printed in an Excel spreadsheet or Word document. We can provide a template for you to complete and return back to us.

Please ensure to double check the names and punctuation before sending them to us to avoid any printing errors.

Yes envelopes for invitations and RSVP cards are included within the prices, we also provide a few extras if you are writing them yourselves to allow for any mistakes!

Our standard envelope colours are white or ivory however you may choose to upgrade to the wide range of high quality coloured envelopes we offer instead. These fees will all be shown when placing your order.

Yes we can print on the envelopes for the invitation and RSVP envelopes which are charged at 20p each. You will need to provide us with the guest names and addresses that you would like printed. We will provide you with a guest address template spreadsheet to complete and return back to us.

Our tiered pricing means that larger quantities already include a discount and we are unable to discount this further.

We aim to send samples within 14 working days, however during busier periods they may take up to 4 weeks. Please order in plenty of time to avoid disappointment.

We may have to order in materials we do not have in stock to complete your samples which we will confirm with you when you place an order.

If you have not received your samples after 4 weeks please let us know in case they have been lost in the post.

We have an order process which can be found on the wedding invitation product pages.

Once we have received your order we will be in touch to set you up on our Client system where we will ask for the wording and details for your invitations, create proofs and keep you up to date with your order.

If all deadlines are met by both parties we estimate delivery within 3-4 weeks from proof approval.

We are unable to replicate another wedding stationery company’s design due to copyright and we ask you to respect the copyright we own in our own designs.

We are currently operating as an online based company only so we are unable to offer appointments at this moment in time. We are happy to call you to discuss your requirements or we can chat via the online messenger.

Stationery Proofing

We can only create digital proofs for your approval when we have received your full order.

We provide 3 rounds of amendments during the proofing stage, however, once you have approved the proofs for your wedding invitations and stationery we are no longer able to accept changes to your stationery without charging an additional fee if printing has already begun.

Shipping

Yes we are able to ship orders Worldwide.

Please note that postage for orders outside of the UK will be charged accordingly and you may be subject to customs fees when the items arrive in your country.

The postage for Invitation and wedding day stationery orders placed via our website are calculated at checkout. We use DPD Local and UPS for our larger stationery orders. DPD Local will provide a 1 hour delivery time slot on the day of the delivery. Please provide us with your phone number as well as email address to receive notifications.

Smaller orders will be sent via Royal mail and charged according to the weight of the parcel.

Returns & Replacements

If the mistake was made on our behalf we apologise profusely and we will happily send a replacement free of charge. Please get in touch via email.

If the mistake was made by yourselves I'm afraid we can not send a replacement without the item being repurchased.

We're so sorry to hear if your item has arrived damaged. Whilst we ensure to package our orders as securely as possible, occasionally these things can happen during transit. Please send us a photo of the damage and we will do all that we can to rectify this situation.

Contacting Sweetheart Stationery

We work from our work studio at home and are available Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm. However, we do work flexible hours due to having two little ones who also keep us busy during the day, so please do not be alarmed if you receive an email from us during unsociable hours!

We are based at our home studio in Gravesend, Kent.

We can only accept orders via our website, to keep things organised and all in one place :-)

We can provide you with our number too, however please note that we are not always available by phone due to time spent working on order and the noise from large machinery, and quite often children!
